WILEY X^®, INC. ENCOURAGES AMERICANS TO CELEBRATE OUR INDEPENDENCE WITH PASSIONATE PATRIOTISM THIS JULY 4^th

The 4^th of July is the most American of holidays, often celebrated coast-to-coast with parades, family get-togethers and patriotic fireworks shows. The fact that Independence Day falls on Saturday this year will certainly ramp up the festivities, but according to eyewear innovator  Wiley X^®,  Inc., it’s important that we not lose sight of the reason behind all this family fun.

“Wherever you are and whatever you do to celebrate, it’s vital that we all remember the meaning of this holiday,” said Wiley X Co-Owner Myles Freeman, Jr.   “Wherever we come from and whatever our background, all Americans share one core thing.  We live and work and eat and sleep under the blessing of freedom, and this allows us all to pursue life with a sense of personal independence.  This day has been set aside to commemorate the forming of our nation and the birth of that independence which we all still enjoy to this day,” added Freeman.

As a leading provider of protective eyewear for the U.S. military and law enforcement, Wiley X, Inc. has an affinity for patriotic causes and activities that bring American families together.  For more than 25 years, the company has pioneered vision protection technology that is today not only found in military-grade products, but in everyday stylish sunglasses Americans wear on the job, out in the Great Outdoors or just enjoying everyday family activities.

All adult Wiley X sunglass styles meet stringent ANSI Z87.1 High Velocity and High Mass Impact Safety standards, as well as EN-166 Standards, providing all wearers with OSHA-grade vision protection.  All models also provide 100% protection against the sun’s harmful UV rays, and dozens of polarized models deliver superior glare-cutting performance when worn on the water, on the highway or in the “urban jungle.”   Because they are made to be stylish, comfortable and provide superior visual clarity, Wiley X glasses are a leading choice of top NASCAR drivers, professional bass fishermen and other high-performance athletes — along with everyday Americans. Almost all Wiley X eyewear styles are also Rx-ready, making them an ideal choice for millions of people who require corrective lenses for work and play.
