Exclusive dinner features dishes prepared by Executive Chef Travis Napier, paired with select wines by winemaker Jay Turnipseed

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (June 30, 2015) – Bristol Seafood Grill announces its first Franciscan Estate wine dinner on Monday, July 13 at 6 p.m. at Bristol’s downtown Kansas City location. The dinner features five courses prepared by Executive Chef Travis Napier, thoughtfully paired with a variety of Franciscan Estate wines by special guest and winemaker Jay Turnipseed.

Turnipseed has been with Franciscan Estate since May 2004, having first completed school in the Viticulture and Enology program at UC Davis. His main research projects focused on the effects of pruning, thinning and crop load on the finished wine’s taste, emphasizing what happens in the vineyard will affect what happens in the glass.

The dinner is priced at $89 per person, including tax and gratuity. Reservations are required, and seating is limited. Reservations can be made my calling Bristol’s downtown location at (816) 448-6007.
