Rob Holland Ultimate Airshows is extremely proud to announce that, as part of the team's Hero Flight Program, Rob will be honoring World War II veteran Ken Rabbitt with a ride in the Window World Extra 300 aerobatic airplane this Thursday in Battle Creek, Michigan. Ken was deployed in the European Theater during World War II, serving in the US Army Air Corps' legendary Eighth Air Force as a ground crewman, repairing B-17s, B-24s, and C-47s. Ken is himself a pilot, having once owned and flown a Stearman biplane. Flying in the two-seat Window World Extra 300, Ken will have the opportunity to experience the same kinds of maneuvers Rob will be performing at the Battle Creek Field of Flight Airshow & Balloon Festival this Fourth of July Weekend.

Rob created the Hero Flight Program in 2010 as a way of thanking US military veterans for their service. In 2015, with the generous support of Window World, Rob is able to bring the Hero Flight Program to each of the 23 airshows at which he'll be performing all across the United States. So far this year, the team has conducted Hero Flights with men and women from all branches of the US military.

The Hero Flight will take place at 10AM on Thursday, July 2nd at the W.K. Kellogg Airport in Battle Creek, Michigan. Credentialed media are encouraged to attend. Rob will be available for plane-side interviews and video and in-cockpit audio of the flight will be made available upon request. Please contact team Media Coordinator Steve Serdikoff for details.
