Social media contest supports Trout Unlimited and 1% for Rivers Campaign

Boulder, Colo. (June 30, 2015) - Upslope Brewing Company, in association with Trout Unlimited and Minturn Anglers, is proud to announce a new social media contest entitled ‘Catch and Relief.’ The grand prize winner of this easy-to-enter contest will enjoy a guided two-day/two-night fly-fishing getaway hosted by Minturn Anglers in Vail, CO. The prize package includes luxury accommodations at the Solaris Hotel, a custom Upslope fly rod and reel from Minturn Anglers, a fishing pack, shirt and hat from Simms, and a weekend’s worth of Upslope beer.

“The one percent of sales that we donate to Trout Unlimited from our Craft Lager shows our continued commitment to protecting North America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds,” said Henry Wood, Upslope’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “Now through our #catchandrelief contest everyone has the opportunity to enjoy these protected waterways while fishing with some of the best guides in the business.”

To enter, contestants can simply post a picture to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter of fishing-related activities that include a can of Upslope and the hashtag #catchandrelief. The contest runs from July 1 through the end of August. In addition to the grand prize, five runner-up winners will receive a custom Upslope fly rod from Minturn Anglers.
