Budget 2018: space agency details still scant

The Federal Government has announced $41 million of funding to kickstart the Australian space sector over the next four years.

The $41 of funding is allocated across:

  • establishing the national space agency ($26 million over four years)

  • international space investment ($15 million over three years)

Government pitches tax ‘relief’ in election-focused budget

Treasurer Scott Morrison has unveiled an income tax plan that will cost $140 billion over a decade and initially deliver tax relief up to $530 a year for 4.4 million people earning between $48,000 and $90,000.
