Calhoun, GA, August 17, 2015 — Durkan, the hospitality brand of Mohawk Group, launches Trisara, its newest collection of hospitality carpet styles designed in collaboration with Virginia Langley. Taking design cues from visuals found in Zen garden designs, the Trisara Collection is made up of more than 20 modern abstract patterns that address a variety of large and small-scale applications for the hospitality environment. As part of Durkan’s comprehensive flooring solutions offering, the Trisara Collection coordinates with Mohawk Group hard surfaces and Daltile’s ceramic offerings.

“This year, our design studio has been focused on examining layered depth of patterning and interpreting surface textures in fresh, innovative ways,” said Mark Page, Durkan’s senior director of design and color. “Trisara beautifully combines our design philosophy with Virginia Langley’s inspired eye to offer a selection of elegant visuals for the hospitality market.”

With a global contemporary essence, Trisara’s diverse aesthetic illustrates versatility for a multitude of hospitality environments. Trisara means the third garden in heaven in ancient Sanskrit. Inspired by this meaning and Zen garden designs, Trisara’s styles offer large and mid-scale flowing and organic geometrics as well as coordinating textures. The collection’s oversized pattern scales add a bold sophistication to suit any urban city style. Elegant textures and translucent overlays add rich layered depth for the modern, remote spa location. Abstracted designs with a modern infusion into the tranquility and harmony of pattern formations, Trisara are the newest addition to Durkan’s CYP collection of products.
