LOS ANGELES (March 22, 2016) – Actress KEIKO ELIZABETH is demanding answers on the season three finale of the acclaimed Freeform family drama, THE FOSTERS, airing on March 28th.

The Fosters follows teenager Callie Jacobs (Maia Mitchell) in her foster home with a lesbian couple (Teri Polo and Sherri Saum) and their blend of biological, adoptive and foster children. In the episode titled ‘Kingdom Come’, a heartbreaking loss leads to a moral quandary for Callie that has her questioning her loyalties, while Reporter Carol Kim (Keiko) is looking for answers.

Keiko was thrilled to work on the critically acclaimed show, adding “It’s so exciting to be a part of television that is telling stories of diverse families in a universal way. My mixed-race family was unusual for the time and place that I grew up, and there was nothing on TV at the time to reflect my own experience back to me. It’s wonderful to see diverse families represented more and more.”

Up next, Keiko is slated to shoot a role in writer-director Kurt Voelker’s (Sweet November) upcoming comedic drama, THE BACHELORS. The ensemble cast includes Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) and celebrated actress Julie Delphy (Before Midnight), along with young actors Josh Wiggins (Max) and Odeya Rush (Goosebumps). Set for release in 2017, this story is about a widower and his 17-year-old son who move from a small northern California town to Los Angeles hoping for a fresh start.

From inner city school teacher to award-winning actress, Keiko has been building a solid resume since landing in Hollywood. She has appeared in some of the biggest shows on television, including Criminal Minds, Last Man Standing, Angie Tribeca, Major Crimes, and Hawaii Five-O among others. In addition, she has become a standout on the festival circuit starring in the award-winning indie short, The Last Great Romantic Comedy

Originally from Elk Grove, California, Keiko started out as pre-med at Stanford University, where she also began tutoring local "at risk" youth. By the time she received her Biology degree, medicine was no longer her focus. Instead, she quickly earned her credential and began teaching middle school science at an arts-based school for kids transitioning out of juvenile hall. It was during this time that she auditioned on a whim for a community production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’. That was all it took, she made the decision to move to Southern California, where she enrolled and earned an MFA from Cal State Fullerton and began her professional acting career. Today, she continues to volunteer with young people, bringing the arts to critically-ill children through the non-profit organization Art of Elysium.

Keiko Elizabeth is represented by Karen Armstrong at Dedicated Talent Management.
