Acoustic gypsy jazz band return with the release of timeless classics and "Route 66" single

Los Angeles, CA - March 22, 2016 -- The Los Angeles gypsy jazz band, The Black Market Trust has released their sophomore album "II." Featuring a timeless 12-track playlist of vocally-infused melodies including the band’s rendition on single "Route 66" - which is climbing the AC radio charts - "II" fuses unforgettable classics with elements of modernized pop.

Influenced by an array of musicians including The Mills Brothers, The Beach Boys, Sinatra, Lennon and McCartney, The Black Market Trust consists of five talented musicians who share the same passion for classic American music.

"The Black Market Trust....adheres to the Hot Club musical ideals, while cleverly folding in pop and rock influences from decades after the time of Django" - Josef Woodward, Santa Barbara News-Press

Led by vocalist/guitarist Jeffrey Scott Radaich, the band’s signature spin on popular hits such as "Fly Me to the Moon," "You Make Me Feel So Young," and "Dream a Little Dream of Me" are both nostalgic and new. The Black Market Trust has performed extensively throughout the US playing at several events, venues and festivals. The band is currently gearing up for several tour dates in California this spring starting with a live performance at Dizzy’s in San Diego on April 15.

About Black Market Trust

The Black Market Trust is an American pop/vocal jazz band whose current release, II, combines the sound of the great American crooners and vocal groups with the romantic Eastern European gypsy fire of jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. Consisting of five world class musicians who have traveled the globe recording and performing on the world’s biggest stages and with music’s most renowned artists, The Black Market Trust capitalizes on their experience and pedigree to deliver a sophomore album that brings a new and exciting sound to 12 tried and true classic songs.
