Cross-Continental Collaboration: Nutifood and Viplus Dairy to Create Australian- Standard Premium Dairy Brand

  • Written by Daily Bulletin

Vietnam’s Nutifood has officially entered a strategic partnership with ViPlus Dairy, a heritage-rich dairy manufacturer with over 130 years of experience in Gippsland, Australia, to establish an international joint venture: ViPlus Nutritional Australia.

This milestone marks a major step in Nutifood’s globalization journey, making it the first Vietnamese enterprise to directly co-found an Australian-standard premium dairy brand, GippsNature.

This will be a new international premium nutrition brand inspired by Australia’s “nature-first” philosophy. Drawing from the fertile landscapes of Gippsland and backed by scientifically formulated nutrition, the brand aims to support natural growth across all stages of life.

GippsNature’s initial product range will include milk and nutritional supplements for children, adults, and the elderly. The brand is expected to launch first in Vietnam in the third quarter of 2025, with plans to expand into global markets thereafter.

This signing marks a milestone in Nutifood’s global expansion, as the first Vietnamese company to co-found a premium dairy brand meeting Australian standards GippsNature.

Kevin Norman - Senior Global Engagement Manager, Australian Trade and Investment Commission stated, “The strategic outcomes that we anticipate will flow from this newly formed Joint Venture between ViPlus Dairy and Nutifood Vietnam, will only strengthen the trade ties between our two nations, both in commerce and in friendship”.

Nghiem Xuan Hoa, Minister Counselor and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Viet Nam in Australia also praised the collaboration at the event: “As a strategic collaboration between two leading enterprises, the joint venture will bring practical benefits to consumers in both countries and contribute to strengthening the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and Australia.”

Going Global with Vietnamese Excellence

In 2025, driven by a global vision, Nutifood officially enters its globalization phase by co-creating a premium dairy brand in Australia. The milestone underscores Nutifood’s innovation capacity and integration prowess, with its commitment to putting Vietnamese identity on the global dairy map.

Tran Bao Minh, Vice President of Nutifood, stated: “The upcoming GippsNature brand is the result of a long-term strategic partnership between ViPlus Dairy, with its proud 130-year-old legacy, and Nutifood, bringing creativity and deep market insight into Vietnam. Together, we co-develop every aspect from brand positioning, product innovation, market strategy, to full value chain operations.”

“We don't just produce milk; we create high-quality nutritional solutions,”  Minh emphasized, reinforcing the company's founding spirit since its establishment in 2000.

Mr. Tran Bao Minh shared the same vision and goals of both Nutifood and ViPlus Dairy, along with high expectations for the success of the joint venture.

Explaining the decision to partner with ViPlus Dairy, Nutifood highlighted that the 130-year-old company from Gippsland - known as Australia's "dairy capital" - has earned the trust of consumers across multiple countries with its internationally certified powdered milk products and longstanding brand reputation.

Premium Australian-Standard Milk for Vietnam and Global Consumers

Country of Origin (COO) has a significant impact on Vietnamese consumers’ purchasing decisions regarding global brands, according to research published in InderScience Journal.

Beyond nutritional value and safety standards, consumers often spend time seeking detailed information on imported products before making the decision.

GippsNature meets these expectations with products manufactured by a company over 130 years old in Gippsland - ViPlus Dairy. Following the “nature-first” nutritional philosophy, dairy cows graze freely on lush pastures nurtured by year-round mild climate, high rainfall, and pure ocean air from the surrounding ocean.

Gippsland has long embraced organic farming practices for its pastures, avoiding the use of growth hormones or antibiotics on its purebred dairy cows. Strict animal welfare and environmental sustainability standards are upheld throughout the production process.

Jon McNaught, CEO of ViPlus Dairy, shared: “ViPlus Dairy and Nutifood come from two different cultural backgrounds, yet we share a common goal, to develop some of the most nutritional, high quality Milk Formula products for Vietnam and other global markets with our new brand identity GippsNature.”

Mr. Jon McNaught - CEO of ViPlus Dairy introduced the renowned “naturally produced” milk from Gippsland.

McNaught added that the partnership would build on Gippsland’s long-standing reputation for dairy excellence, adding that the region is known for producing some of the highest quality milk in the world.

He said: “We firmly believe that Gippsland’s heritage for dairy excellence, and producing some of the highest quality milk in the world, will only have its reputation enhanced through our new strategic partner in Nutifood.”

Beyond the Marker: How Modern Whiteboards Drive Team Collaboration

  • Written by Daily Bulletin

In an age where flexibility and innovation define competitive advantage, the humble whiteboard has undergone a transformation. From static office fixture to dynamic collaboration hub, modern whiteboards and glass boards are playing a crucial role in reshaping how Australian businesses and institutions approach teamwork.

For purchasing officers in business, education, and government sectors, understanding this shift is vital. As hybrid models and agile methodologies become the norm, visual collaboration tools are more than just accessories—they are strategic investments in team efficiency and creative engagement.

Reimagining the Modern Whiteboard

Gone are the days of stained surfaces and squeaky markers. Today’s whiteboards are sleek, mobile, and multifunctional. Mobile units can be wheeled into huddle spaces, training rooms, or boardrooms, breaking down spatial boundaries. Their versatility supports everything from design sprints to project stand-ups, making them ideal for fast-paced work environments.

These tools are particularly useful in agile workspaces. Whether it’s mapping out workflows or capturing brainstorming outcomes, mobile whiteboards for agile teams allow for real-time ideation and continuous iteration—core principles in agile methodologies.

The Rise of Glass Boards in Collaborative Workspaces

Glass boards represent a step up in both style and substance. Their premium look complements modern interiors, especially in executive suites, design studios, or innovation hubs. But they’re not just attractive—they’re also durable, easy to clean, and ghosting-resistant, which makes them perfect for high-use environments.

These boards integrate beautifully into hybrid work settings. Their reflective surface enhances video conferencing visibility, and their elegant, frameless design makes them a seamless addition to open-plan offices. Incorporating glass writing surfaces into collaborative spaces reflects a commitment to functionality and forward-thinking design.

Supporting Hybrid and Remote Collaboration

With hybrid work now firmly established across Australia, office spaces need to support fluid transitions between in-person and remote interactions. Whiteboards and glass boards offer visual anchoring in meetings where part of the team is remote. When paired with digital whiteboarding apps or visual project management tools, they become bridges between physical and virtual workspaces.

Teams can map strategies, outline goals, or storyboard ideas on physical surfaces, then snap and share them digitally. This tactile-digital synergy maintains clarity, enhances memory retention, and ensures all participants—whether in the office or working remotely—remain aligned.

Why Visual Tools Matter More Than Ever

Research confirms that visual learning enhances retention, understanding, and engagement. In workplace settings, it can mean the difference between aligned teams and disconnected ideas. Whiteboards and glass boards turn abstract concepts into visible frameworks—making it easier to plan, prioritise, and perform.

Visual tools also promote psychological safety in teams. Writing ideas on a board encourages open contribution without the pressure of formal presentation. This is particularly valuable in innovation-driven environments where free thinking is critical.

Sector-Specific Use Cases

Each sector brings unique needs and challenges to office design—and whiteboards and glass boards are adaptable enough to meet them all.

Corporate: In fast-moving businesses, project managers rely on whiteboards for sprint planning, backlog reviews, and cross-functional alignment. Glass boards are often featured in executive spaces or client-facing meeting rooms to convey professionalism and design sensibility.

Education: In TAFEs, universities, and training centres, mobile whiteboards enhance classroom flexibility. Lecturers can pivot between instruction styles and encourage group work. Clear boards are increasingly popular in STEM-focused classrooms due to their cleanliness and legibility.

Government: Policy teams and public service units benefit from mobile whiteboards during workshops, stakeholder mapping, or community consultations. Their portability supports dynamic discussions across departments or locations.

Buying Considerations for Strategic Buyers

For facility managers and purchasing officers, selecting the right board involves more than choosing a surface. Consider these factors:

  1. Mobility: Opt for wheeled boards with locking casters to maximise flexibility.
  2. Surface Quality: Choose tempered glass or commercial-grade whiteboard coatings for longevity.
  3. Mounting & Space: Wall-mounted units are great for small offices; mobile units suit larger, collaborative zones.
  4. Aesthetics: Consider frame colour and board finish to match interior design schemes.

Final Thoughts: Investing in Agile Collaboration

The office is no longer a fixed environment—it’s a responsive ecosystem built for change. In this new world, tools like glass and mobile whiteboards are more than accessories. They’re core components of productive, collaborative workplaces.

As Australian businesses and government departments embrace new working models, visual collaboration will be the connective tissue that drives innovation and unity. Investing in versatile, design-forward whiteboards and glass boards isn’t just practical—it’s future-focused.

After all, the best ideas often start with a marker and a surface—make sure yours are up to the task.
