Bordentown, NJ (August 18, 2015) – With wildfire season in full effect across the western United States, Princeton Tec, makers of industry leading lighting products for the last 40 years, is relied upon by the U.S. Forest Service to provide the most reliable, high-quality headlamps for wildland firefighters across the country.
The U.S. is experiencing heightened levels of wildfire activity that are threatening citizen’s lives, land and natural resources this summer. With the cost of fighting fires on the rise and an above average fire season underway, firefighters need the best products to help them stay one step ahead of the blazes.
Since 2013 the U.S. Forest Service has been using the Princeton Tec Yukon HL headlamp to help manage, mitigate and fight dangerous fires. Over 10,000 firefighters that makeup hotshot, hand and smokejumper crews are equipped with the Yukon HL. This trusted headlamp adds essential visibility so crews can effectively navigate the wilderness through thick smoke and during nighttime hours.
“The fact that the Forest Service chose us to supply them with headlamps really speaks to the quality of our products. We supply them with our lights because we are one hundred percent confident in our product’s battery life, superior lighting capabilities and above all, reliability,” said Princeton Tec’s Tactical Division Manager Ryan Ditta. “Princeton Tec is proud to support the thousands of U.S. Forest Service firefighters that put their lives on the line to help others. Princeton Tec hopes that their commitment to a quality product will help keep firefighters safe for many years to come.”
About Princeton TecSince 1975, New Jersey-based Princeton Tec’s goal has been to deliver top-quality lighting products to the outdoor, industrial, tactical, SCUBA and bike industries. The company is an American manufacturer, and through the decades has built a strong reputation with dealers and customers for their superior and reliable lights.
