Battery World is giving away $5K to help Aussies power through the pandemic

  • Written by: Media Release

Australia’s leading battery retailer, Battery World is putting an end to what seems to be the longest winter yet, by giving away $5,000 to eight lucky Aussies.

With the pandemic bringing most holiday plans to a halt, Battery World is encouraging the community to not lose hope and start dreaming about life beyond COVID-19.

Battery World’s General Manager, Johnny Kennedy understands it is a difficult time for all and wants to give everyone a sense of hope to keep powering through.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a trying time for many Aussie families and businesses. All of our locally-owned stores have seen the struggle in their communities, and as a company, we wanted to create a $5,000 prize for eight lucky winners in a bid to spread some joy and to help fulfil Australians’ dreams of adventures and getting back on the road once restrictions have been lifted,” Mr Kennedy said.

Despite not being able to travel internationally, we want people to look at the many beautiful and relaxing destinations across Australia where we can be safe and have an amazing experience with our family and friends.

In addition, as a thank you to our loyal customers who have supported our network by buying locally and Australian-made, we are also giving away one hundred cash prizes of $100, and to be eligible all you have to do is make an in store or online purchase at your local Battery World.”

The $5,000 giveaway and cash prize campaign is running from 17 August until 27 September.

By signing up to Battery World’s premium VIP loyalty program ‘Volt’ and spending $100 in one transaction at your local Battery World store or online, customers can go in the running to win $5,000.

With Father’s Day on 6 September, the campaign comes at the perfect time for customers to both ‘power up’ their fathers with Battery World’s wide selection of ‘dad gifts’ across camping, fishing, boating, cars, 4WD, leisure and other activities while receiving an entry into the prize draw.
