OKLAHOMA CITY - Friday, March 18, 2016 – MADE POSSIBLE® announced today that the Food For All food truck will unveil on Thursday, April 7 from 5-8pm at the Western Avenue “On The Lawn” free family-friendly event. This follows reaching the end-of-year funding goal led by sponsors, brand supporters and the community at large. This unveiling celebrates a community-wide collaboration program, Food For All, conceptualized to insert the topic of childhood hunger into mainstream culture. Oklahoma’s growing street festival scene presented the perfect opportunity to leverage the appeal of chef-inspired gourmet meals to spotlight and provide funding support for the critical issue of Oklahoma food insecurity.

Oklahoma’s premier food truck app, Truck It, has agreed to serve at the helm as the sustaining owner/operator of the Food For All truck and will provide news, updates and impact ongoing at foodforallok.com.  Oklahoma’s favorite chefs/restaurants are graciously volunteering to create and serve their take on ‘gourmet grilled cheese’ and all proceeds go directly to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma’s Food for Kids programs.

This 100 percent for-philanthropy community food truck program was made possible by Oklahomans desire and investment to collectively participate in supporting the epidemic of childhood hunger in our state. Founding sponsors First National Bank of Oklahoma, Whole Foods Market and Truck It joined by supporting companies Beck’s Garage, Downtown Digital & Design, Plenty Mercantile, Farmers Insurance Michelle Early Agency, OKC Awesome Foundation, Savory Spice Shop and the goal-reaching gift by EO Oklahoma combined with culinary and citizen contributions to realize the goal of a social enterprise created by the community to benefit the community!

This marks the first launched project by Made Possible. The way Oklahoma stepped up and rose to the challenge was awe-inspiring to founders, sponsors, partners and most importantly beneficiary Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.

"One in six Oklahomans has inconsistent access to food," said Rodney Bivens, executive director of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.  "Every dollar raised from the Food for All food truck will provide five meals for chronically hungry children, hardworking families and seniors struggling with hunger. We want to thank the community, local chefs and all of the sponsors for joining us in ‘Fighting Hunger…Feeding Hope’ in Oklahoma.”

Let’s celebrate this remarkable feat of a unified movement by Oklahomans on Thursday, April 7 from 5 to 8pm at the Western Avenue “On The Lawn” event, complete Unveiling celebration details, upcoming event details and a list of ALL participants can be found at foodforallok.com
