Caroleo will lead marketing, brand awareness and social media initiatives, while the brand’s George Chevalier is promoted to Product Manager

BORDENTOWN, N.J. (March 7, 2016) – Continuing its commitment to industry leading American designed, manufactured and assembled outdoor lighting products, Princeton Tec welcomes Caitie Caroleo to the team in the role of Marketing Manager. With the addition of Caroleo to the marketing department, the brand’s former marketing manager, George Chevalier, was promoted to Product Manager – a newly created position at the 40-plus year old, family-owned company.

“This year is shaping up to be a pivotal year for Princeton Tec, and we are thankful to have Caitie's deep marketing experience and George's knowledge of our organization and the marketplace both helping move the company forward,” said Dave Cozzone, Princeton Tec Vice President.

Caroleo, who previously served as VP of Marketing at a New Jersey-based commercial real estate firm, brings a well-rounded set of skills to Princeton Tec that will seamlessly bolster the brand’s marketing program. In addition to her professional experience as a marketer, she logs ample time in the outdoors, overlanding, fishing, camping, hiking and kayaking. Meshing her love for the outdoors with her professional interests drew Caroleo to Princeton Tec, and in her new position she will focus on growing the brand’s product awareness by engaging current and new brand fans through traditional and social media channels, creative marketing campaigns as well as managing event and retail activations.

“I’m extremely excited to be joining the Princeton Tec team. As an avid outdoor enthusiast that has been a marketing professional in corporate America for the past eight-plus years, I come armed with a whole lot of enthusiasm for a role where I can merge my professional experience and personal passions,” said Caroleo. “I love learning what gets people stoked and playing a role in building communities around that. It’s a really exciting time to be involved with a company like Princeton Tec and I’m looking forward to helping grow the brand.”

Chevalier, who served as Princeton Tec’s Marketing Manager for last five years is taking on the newly created role of Product Manager. Directing product strategy, planning and development, he will lead the integration of engineering, marketing and sales – as it relates to product development – while infusing the brand’s innovative thinking into new and existing products. Chevalier will grow Princeton Tec’s product offerings while keeping the end-user top-of-mind and instilling the company’s brand heritage into all aspects of production.

“I've been involved with the product development process in broad strokes since I came on board, and this opportunity to really focus on the details is an exciting progression,” said Chevalier.

The investment in Caroleo and Chevalier continues Princeton Tec’s vision for building an enduring, American Made brand as it enters its fifth decade of business, and bolsters product and brand awareness to deliver best-in-class lights for a variety of applications.
