G3 Partners with Guide Services, Snow Safety Organizations for 2016

With backcountry education as a core community commitment, G3 sponsors ACMG, AMGA, Avalanche Canada, assists in funding guide training, guide scholarships.

Vancouver, B.C. (Dec. 15, 2015) - G3, manufacturer of category leading backcountry ski and snowboard equipment, is partnering for the 2015/16 winter season with numerous guide associations, avalanche forecast centers, and other organizations that promote education and help skiers better enjoy the backcountry experience. G3 is sponsoring the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG), the American Mountain Guide Association (AMGA) and Avalanche Canada, while also supporting other backcountry ski-focused organizations.

In addition, G3 has raised more than $9,000 this fall for the Canadian Mountain & Ski Guide training program at Thompson River University that feeds into the ACMG guide program, and more than $1,200 to support an AMGA ski guide training scholarship. G3 also sponsors a number of individual ACMG- and AMGA-certified guides as testers and ambassadors.
