Downtown Dazzle’s last weekend highlights a multitude of holiday events at Union Station

WHAT: The last weekend of the second annual Downtown Dazzle features five free Holiday Trolleys presented by Google Fiber that will make continuous stops at the Kansas City Power & Light District, the Kansas City Marriott Downtown (Barney Allis Plaza), Crown Center and Union Station, connecting riders with holiday festivities happening through downtown Kansas City. The trolley stops feature dedicated holiday activities and performances throughout the weekend, with the giant Snow Globe photo station now at Union Station.

The last weekend of Downtown Dazzle will feature a host of activities at Union Station including a free performance by the Pythons Drill Team, balloon artist and face painter, Kansas City Southern’s Holiday Express Train and much more.

Friday, December 18

o   Santa’s Gingerbread Station inside Crown Center 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

o   Snow Globe photo station at Union Station from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

o   Sister Act Holiday Face Painting at Union Station from 7 – 9 p.m.

o   Holiday Balloon Artist Greg Keller at Union Station from 7-9 p.m.

o   FEATURED OFFERING: Free Holiday Trolleys presented by Google Fiber running from 6 – 10 p.m. with continuous stops at Kansas City Power & Light District, the Kansas City Marriott Downtown (Barney Allis Plaza), Crown Center and Union Station.

o   Letters to Santa and gingerbread house display at Union Station on B-level from 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

o   FEATURED EVENT: Kansas City Southern’s Holiday Express Train at Union Station in Sprint Festival Plaza from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. (reservations encouraged)

o   Chocoholics Delight Chocolate Bar at MetropolitanKC inside the Marriott Kansas City Downtown from 5 – 10 p.m. (fee applies)

o   FEATURED EVENT: Pythons Drill Team performance at Union Station from 6 – 7 p.m.

o   El Tenador food truck serving free hot chocolate compliments of Google Fiber at Union Station from 6 – 10 p.m.

o   Mini Holiday Train Rides at Union Station from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. (fee applies)

o   Midland Adventist Academy Choir concert in the Grand Hall at Union Station at 3:30 p.m.

o   Holiday Sing-Along at Union Station from 7-9 p.m.

o   Meet and greet with Kansas City Chiefs’ Hall of Famer Art Still at Union Station in Sprint Festival Plaza from 1-3 p.m.

o   Sister Act Face Painting at Union Station from 4 – 8 p.m.

o   Balloon Artist Greg Keller at Union Station from 4-8 p.m.

o   Kansas City Southern’s Holiday Express Train at Union Station in Sprint Festival Plaza from 9:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. (reservations encouraged)

o   Youth Academy Music concert in the in the Grand Hall at Union Station at 6:30 p.m.

o   Letters to Santa and gingerbread house display at Union Station on B-Level from 12-5 p.m.
