Celebrate New Year’s Eve on Cockatoo Island, Sydney’s Harbour only Island where you can stay overnight, and watch the fireworks from a spectacular location right in the heart of Sydney Harbour. There’s glamping, camping and BYO camping available as well as a variety of activities and entertainment to make your night an unforgettable experience.

Take the family and enjoy a two night get-away as you explore the Island and camp in style with activities running from Saturday 30 December through to Monday 1 January.

Join in the guided tours exploring the Island’s convict and shipbuilding history, games and crafts for the kids, historic steam crane demonstrations, movies in our Wolverine Cinema and a live DJ on NYE. 

There’s also an exciting selection of food and drink options with pop up stalls and food trucks on the Island for this special event.

There’s a range of different Glamping and Camping options to suit all budgets and tastes.

NYE pricing for Glamping, Camping Packages, and BYO Camping Sites ranges from $450 - $2400 for up to six people.

Glamping and Camping NYE 2017 options are for two-night stays.
