A laneway mulled cider orchard like no other is popping in the Sydney CBD this July. The award-winning Three Bottle Man bar, in partnership with Square Keg, will transform part of Bulletin Place laneway with a rustic pop-up cider bar, barrels, mulled cider stations, wooden touches. lush greenery a-plenty, and much more.

 

Cider Done Three Ways’ - Explore the possibilities of cider:

The nearly week-long immersive al fresco pop up experience will be a unique and exciting Cider Done Three Ways showcase of some of Australia’s favorite ciders including Treehouse Cider, Fixation, and more.

 

In addition to traditional cider, the orchard will feature expertly crafted bespoke cider cocktails by Aaron Gaulke from the award-winning Three Bottle Man, specialty mulled cider from Treehouse, and delicious cider-inspired food and desserts crafted by Michelin Star-experienced French chef, Raphael Squrek.

 

The orchard ambiance:

The pop-up will be designed to help Sydney-siders experience the world of cider like never before. Patrons will be able to find an escape from these cool winter nights and warm up with a mulled cider in hand, in their very own private laneway orchard. Be it after work or over the weekend, it’ll be the perfect setting to cozy up with friends under a blanket in a beautifully lit, lush laneway setting. The cider wonderland will deliver the experience of being in an intimate apple orchard with all the trimmings.

All-Australian showcase:

Amidst the hustle bustle of Circular Quay, Three Bottle Man is one of Australia’s only bars to have an Australian-focused beverages menu, with this activation being no exception. The pop-up will be a showcase of strictly Australian ciders and all paired food with be crafted from the freshest of Australian produce.

About Three Bottle Man

 

Since opening in the autumn of 2017, Three Bottle Man in Circular Quay has quickly become a go-to destination, having been named one of the ‘best new bars’ of the year and one of the ‘best after work drink spots.’ Located in the bustling heart of Circular Quay in the intimate Bulletin Place laneway, it’s the perfect spot to catch up or unwind over a wine, cocktail, or shared platter under the stars.

 

Operating as a cafe by day, Three Bottle Man has also won the award for ‘Best All-Day Dining Destination 2018.’

 

The bar was named after the UK’s youngest Prime Minister in history, William Pitt the Younger, Pitt Street’s namesake and infamous for carrying three bottles throughout his travels. Three Bottle Man is one of Australia’s only bars to boast a strictly all-Australian spirits and beverages menu.

 

Reviews from innumerable happy customers are a testament to the bar’s commitment to being a unique, exciting addition to Sydney’s barscape. Patrons have stated they love this “tiny, tucked away bar” and “they impressed me with their friendliness.” One customer commented that “[there was] a good range of drinks and the food was amazing,” while another felt the intimate laneway “makes me feel like I'm in another European country.”
