(Las Vegas) –Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas today announced that two separate promotions slated for August and September will celebrate seniors and veterans.

The park’s Senior Citizen Days will run Aug. 21-23, when senior citizens ages 65+ will be able to gain entry into the park for free. Complimentary tickets will be available at the ticket windows, only on the event dates.

On Sept.12 and 13, the Salute To Our Heroes promotion serves as a small token of appreciation for all those who serve and keep us safe, with free general admission to active members of the U.S. military, veterans and first responders, including active-duty police, sheriff, highway patrol, firefighters, EMT and paramedics. To receive a complimentary ticket, guests must show a valid ID or badge. Heroes may also purchase up to six discounted admission tickets for family members at $19.99 per person.

“It’s a unique opportunity to be able to give back to those who have worked to serve their communities and their families,” said Takuya Ohki, general manager of Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas. “We are entrenched in this community, and we want to recognize our local heroes whenever possible.”

About Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas

Wet‘n’Wild Las Vegas is Nevada’s premier water park with more than 25 slides and attractions covering more than 20 acres, and a place for both thrill seekers and families.  As Las Vegas’ Summer Playground, the park features the Tornado, a premier slide that catapults riders to a zero gravity experience; Rattler, the first slide of its kind in North America; and Constrictor, an extreme water slide featuring some of the tightest turns. Families and those desiring a more relaxing experience can enjoy Paradise Falls, the interactive children’s area with kid friendly slides and a giant dumping bucket; Colorado Cooler lazy river; and Red Rock Bay wave pool. As the park opens for a third season, one of its most popular slides, Zipp Zapp Zoom, will feature a new and exciting addition, Slideboarding, the world’s first waterslide gaming experience. Slideboarding integrates gaming, skill, and competitive sports with the thrills of a water park. The property is a partnership between Village Roadshow Theme Parks, the majority owner and overseer of day-to-day operations, and Las Vegas investors through SPB Partners, one of Nevada’s first private equity funds.
