Hodulik and her business partner acquired DermaMed Solutions in July 2011, and the company has grown from its origins as a manufacturer and distributor of aesthetic equipment and professional skin care products, to a nationally-recognized provider of state-of-the-art Microdermabrasion and other aesthetic equipment, and grown the professional skin care products to the current dmSkincare line of professional and retail products which offer nutritious, botanically-based skincare to support and enhance microdermabrasion and other mechanical treatment protocols.

Hodulik and her colleagues are transforming DermaMed Solutions (based in Lenni, Delaware County) into a company that delivers a “whole-istic” approach that encompasses mechanical treatments, topical skincare, and wellness elements. They feel strongly that using only one of these aspects does not achieve lasting results, and that an integrated approach is the key to long-term healthy skin.

She brings extensive education and training in clinical nutrition and a growing expertise in the connections between skin health and nutrition, to DermaMed Solutions.  One of her goals for the company is to expand DermaMed Solutions products to incorporate nutrition, and grow the availability of the company’s products worldwide.  She focuses on researching the latest scientific advances in skincare, and incorporating them into DermaMed Solutions “whole-istic” approach. 

Hodulik met her partner in DermaMed Solutions, Mark Pinsley, while working as a Nutrition Program Manager at DSM Nutritional Products.  She collaborated with him on a worksite health and wellness program, the Global Personal Nutrition System, where she developed nutrition and behavioral modification protocols and programming for a workplace wellness program which served over 8,000 members.

Previously, Hodulik’s career background includes over 10 years in the Human Resources field, where she gained invaluable experience with benefits plan design and program implementation.

Hodulik earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition, as well as her Master’s degree in Nutrition, from the College of Saint Elizabeth (Convent Station, New Jersey).  She has earned the Certified Nutrition Specialist designation from the Board of Certification of Nutrition Specialists.  Hodulik is a member of the Center for Nutrition Advocacy and a volunteer with the American College of Nutrition. Her professional affiliations also include the Certification Board for Nutrition Specialists, and the American Nutrition Association.  She also serves on the Legislative Outreach Committee for the Certification Board for Nutrition Specialists

A popular public speaker on a variety of nutrition topics, Hodulik has presented to a variety of organizations nationally over the past few years.  Her subjects have included nutrition for healthy skin; natural skincare products; wellness program engagement strategies; health coaching; behavior change strategy; the critical role of vitamin D in health and cancer prevention; and nutrition for women (particularly during peri-menopause and menopause).
