Calabash Cove Resort Spa of St. Lucia Retains Watkins PR to Manage Media Relations

St. Lucia - July 2015 - Calabash Cove Resort & Spa, a boutique oceanfront hotel on the North coast of St. Lucia, and its sales and marketing company, AskMeInc, have announced the selection of Watkins PR to handle the hotel’s media relations efforts.

Watkins PR will generate awareness about the resort, the destination and its partners through strategic engagement with print, broadcast and online media. Watkins PR will inform travel trade media of the Calabash Cove promotions developed by AskMeInc and keep consumer media updated on special offers, promotions and amenities of Calabash Cove as well as special events occurring on the island.

Watkins PR specializes in marketing communications for the hospitality industry. Founder Jane Watkins has built a track record in integrated marketing communications including launches, events, promotions, sponsorships, media relations, collateral, and advertising. Watkins worked at boutique and international PR firms before starting her own firm in 2003. She represents boutique hotels in the Caribbean and North America, handles chef recruitment and media relations for the St. Croix Food & Wine Experience, and has worked with destinations including Guana Island, Trinidad & Tobago, and the Georgia Department of Industry, Trade & Tourism.
