Famed Motor Speedway to unveil Colossus - the world's largest outdoor center-hung video screen
Jackson, Wyoming – April 13, 2016 – Continuing to extend his FEVR fan engagement message to new venues, ESPN Founder Bill Rasmussen will be at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee, this weekend for a busy NASCAR slate. FEVR sponsors two Ranier Racing with MDM cars in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East entered in the PittLite 125 this Saturday, April 16th. This is one of three races as part of a spectacular Race Week at the historic track also highlighting the debut of Colossus - the massive center-hung digital display.
FEVR's 40 car driven by defending champion Kyle Benjamin and the FEVR 41 car driven by current championship points leader Spencer Davis are expected to be highly competitive in the Saturday race.
Team owner Lorin Ranier said, “We are going to try our best to take one of the FEVR cars to victory lane this weekend for Bill and the FEVR team.”
“I am thrilled to be expanding our relationship with Bill and FEVR,” Ranier added. “Their enthusiasm for the sport is infectious and it has been rewarding for me personally to watch their understanding of Motorsports as a business platform unfolds.”
FEVR is deploying a new platform to greatly enhance fans experience at live sports events.
“Major venues like Bristol always present a great show for their fans and FEVR is designed to make it even better,” said Rasmussen.
FEVR was unveiled in January and already has attracted worldwide interest from fans, teams, leagues and venues.
The FEVR sponsorship of Ranier Racing with MDM cars in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East began last month.
