ATLANTA, March 8, 2016 – Family law firm Hedgepeth, Heredia & Rieder announced today that attorney J. Ashley Sawyer has been recognized as a 2016 “Rising Star” in the area of Family Law. The list is compiled by Super Lawyers, a rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. This is Sawyer’s third appearance on the Rising Star list.
Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor. The listing appears in the March 2016 issue of Atlanta magazine.
Sawyer currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Family Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. Her list of professional accolades and accomplishments also includes:
