(TWINSBURG, Ohio) Feb. 1, 2016 – This Fourth of July weekend, thrill seekers experience Cleveland from a new perspective. The first 100 people to raise $1,500 for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities will rappel the Westin Cleveland Downtown at Over the Edge for Hattie Larlham.
“Cleveland will be on the world stage this July,” said Dennis Allen, Hattie Larlham CEO. “We are thrilled to be downtown during this exciting time. The real thrill will belong to the Over the Edge for Hattie Larlham rappellers. They’ll have a once-in-a-lifetime rush atop the Westin Cleveland Downtown with breathtaking views of Cleveland. And they’ll make a positive impact on the lives of people with developmental disabilities.”
The event, previously held in Akron, raised more than $225,000 in 2014 and 2015. Hattie Larlham brings the fundraiser to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Capital of the World Saturday, July 2.
Hattie Larlham is a non-profit organization that creates comfort, joy and achievement for more than 1,500 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Northeast Ohio. All proceeds from Over the Edge for Hattie Larlham support the people with disabilities the organization serves.
