Alchemy Unveils Atlas Carbon Road Bike
- Written by Pitch Engine

DENVER, Colorado — Alchemy Bicycles is ready to pull the cover off of its latest carbon creation, the Atlas carbon road bike. Engineered from the ground up to meet the demands of riders on Colorado’s Front Range, the Atlas is available in stock sizes and colors only. Alchemy’s lauded ride and production quality are on display within the Atlas and at a price point lower than any other US-made carbon frame.
Weighing in at sub-900 grams, Atlas borrows the best features from Alchemy’s flagship Helios, listed among Outside Magazine’s top bikes of 2015. Thanks to Alchemy’s ability to fully control the construction process from raw sheets of carbon to finished frame, the Atlas also looks as good as it rides.
“We’ve been quietly improving our production processes in Denver,” added Alchemy’s head engineer Matt Maczuzak. “Since we purchased our carbon plotter last year, we’ve been able to add an extra level of control from start to finish. The Atlas is designed from the ground up to ride similarly to the Helios, but it’s constructed in a much different manner, allowing us to offer it in stock sizes at a lower price point.”
Now available through Alchemy’s website, the Atlas frameset with Enve 2.0 fork and Cane Creek headset will retail for $3,999. A complete Atlas with Shimano Ultegra retails for $6,699.
