Brooks-Range Mountaineering Expands Line Collection for Fall 2016

San Leandro, Calif. (Jan. 7, 2015)- Brooks-Range Mountaineering, manufacturer of innovative and high-quality backcountry and outdoor equipment and accessories, expands its apparel collection for Fall 2016. The line will include two new Polartec Alpha products, designed to keep the core warm during high-aerobic activities, and warmer DownTek Jackets, for both men and women.

Active Insulation:

The men’s and women’s Alpha Hoody is designed for breathable warmth during any outdoor activity.  With 100g of Polartec Alpha insulation, features include a lightweight, breathable lining, a 10d Nylon DWR shell, hand warming pockets and a helmet compatible hood. MSRP $269.95.

The men’s and women’s Alpha Softshell, made with Polartec Alpha and Polartec Power Shield, is an insulated softshell jacket that allows air exchange for breathability and comfort during any activity. Features a lightweight, breathable lining, 15d Nylon DWR shell, hand warming pockets and a helmet compatible hood. MSRP $259.95.

DownTek Warmth:

The Mojave Extreme Parka is Brooks-Range’s warmest offering, for big mountain adventure. The water-repellent, fully baffled parka uses 800 Fill DownTek with 15d Nylon Shell DWR. Features include multiple internal storage pockets, helmet compatible hood, and a hidden drawcord. A stuff sack is included. MSRP $399.95.

The men’s and women’s Down Hoody features 800 Fill DownTek, 15d Nylon Shell DWR, Polartec Power Shield in the forearms for further warmth reinforcement, multiple internal storage pockets, and a helmet compatible hood for all winter adventures.
