Jay Luse announces "Soulful Attraction" release date

"Dallas lyricist gears up for the November 20th release of new EP"

Los Angeles, CA - November 19, 2015 --- Fresh off the heels of his timeless hip hop single "What You Like," Dallas rap artist Jay Luse is now prepping for the release of his debut EP "Soulful Attraction."

Featuring 8-tracks, "Soulful Attraction" was recorded at Media Tech with Cameron Edwards and mixed at The Kitchen Studios in Dallas, Texas. Enlisting the talents of several Dallas-area artists and producers to create Soulful Attraction’s signature sound, Jay Luse teamed with Drugs The Model Citizen, Neal Thompson, Blue The Misfit, vocalist Mecca Dishmon, Jamarcus Bridges, Kendrick Sammons, Coach Tev, B. Anderson, the band Pocketbook Denton and fellow Channel X member Rei Altru and Malik Golden. 

"What You Like" - the third single from "Soulful Attraction" has been one of Jay Luse’s hottest records to date, setting the overall tone for the forthcoming EP release. A recent review of the track in Above Average Hip Hop mentions: "The song is a great intro to – really – all three of the artists featured. It’s a cool blend NYC-esque, almost A$AP aesthetic (sonically), and that Texas slow flow we all love. Throw in some recording elements that brings to mind Kendrick as well, like the song’s outro. Worth a few listens for sure."

Jason Lusengo aka Jay Luse is a Zimbabwean born hip hop artist out of Dallas, Texas who was born in Harare, Zimbabwe October, 19th 1992. He was raised in Dallas, TX after spending his first eight years of life in Zimbabwe. Jay Luse is apart of Denton, TX based hip hop collective formally known as Channel X(TEN).
