International Seafood Celebration Comes To Parramatta For Six Days Only This Spring

Sydneysiders will be treated to a seafood experience that will send tastebuds aflutter this spring, as internationally esteemed Singaporean chef and cookbook author, Tony Khoo, comes to Parramatta for six days only from 15 - 20 October.

Chef Khoo will take up residency at PARKROYAL Parramatta’s sleek TABLE 30 restaurant to lead their Taste of Asia celebrations, curating a fresh, locally-sourced Singaporean-themed seafood buffet of classic and modern South-East Asian cuisine.

With more than 40 years’ experience as a chef, Chef Khoo has steered the pre-opening of various 5-star hotels worldwide and is a highly revered member of the Singapore National Culinary Team.

Outside of the kitchen, Chef Khoo is passionate about humanitarian efforts, and is focused on his role on the World Chefs Without Borders Committee, a not-for-profit organisation by the global authority of Chefs, Worldchefs.

Based in Singapore, Chef Khoo was most recently Executive Chef with Marina Mandarin before joining Pan Pacific Hotels Group as Corporate Executive Chef. He is now coming to Parramatta to welcome in the warmer months with a seafood experience not to be missed!

Guests will embark on a culinary journey through the sea; the buffet tantalising the tastebuds with a selection of platters to start, including mirin and sake cured ocean trout and steamed mussels with refreshing coconut and lime dressing.

Other dishes include succulent BBQ Pork Singapore noodle salad or mizuna with fennel capsicum and sprouts from the salad bar, and wok fry chilli crab with mantou or baked sambal fish from the hot selection.

To finish, guests can toast to their experience with a delicious pina colada, included in the dessert offering, and choose from sweet treats including mango cheesecake, Chinese custard tarts, coconut mousse and more.

Chef Khoo’s Taste of Asia will showcase three varying menus across the six days, available from 6pm-9pm, for just $69 per person.

With the renowned Parramatta Lanes festival running concurrently, this is the perfect way to see out a day of local celebrations!
