It is effortless to make a layered dessert that is perfect for your holiday table. Start by crushing chocolate wafer cookies and pushing them into the bottom of a baking dish. Next, break 12 candy canes into pieces and put them in your food processor. Pulverize them until they become like sand. Then, remove them from the food processor and combine with 6 ounces cream cheese, 1 cup powdered sugar and 12 ounces whipped topping. Place this layer on top of the chocolate cookies. Then, make up two family-size boxes of white chocolate pudding mix, and put it on top of the candy cane layer. Finally, top with another layer of whipped topping. Give this dessert a holiday flair by sprinkling a little candy cane dust on top.

Seasonal Lollipops

Candy Bread Pudding

Start by combining your favorite white cake mix with 2 cups melted ice cream and three eggs. Spray and flour a bundt cake pan. Pour the mixture into the pan and bake according to your cake mix’s directions. Let cool and break into pieces and press into a small baking dish and set aside. In a separate bowl, combine four eggs and 3/4 cup sugar. Beat in 1 cup whole milk, ½ cup heavy cream, 1 teaspoon vanilla and ¼ teaspoon salt. Finally, chop up and add your favorite chocolate candies. Then, pour the mixture over the cake mixture. Press the mixture down to make sure that the cake absorbs it. Bake the mixture for 1 hour in a 375-degree oven. Let sit for about 15 minutes and serve.

Festive Peppermint Patties

You can easily make homemade peppermint patties. Combine 21/2 cups powdered sugar, 1 ½ tablespoons water, 1 ½ tablespoons vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon butter and 1 ½ tablespoon peppermint extra together in a mixer. Chop 2 dark chocolate candy bars in your food processor and add two tablespoons to the mixture along with 3 tablespoons shortening and stir until combined. Place the mixture in the freezer for about 15 minutes until firm. Roll into patties and set the patties in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes. Flip over and cool for another 10 minutes. Finally, melt the remaining chopped chocolate and dip the patties in it.
