Macquarie Hotel Sale

This Liverpool hotel is a major property that was under renovation when the Lazarus group bought it. This $25 million hotel is well-known in the area today as the area's best gaming pub. It's the top place for gaming, and it also offers a bistro for upscale dining. Macquarie Hotel is a large venue, taking up a 1,000 sq m block. It has many great spaces such as a beer garden and a sports bar. In the late 1800s, the original hotel was built. In 1938, it was rebuilt, and in 2015, it underwent major renovations. The Lazarus family sold The Macquarie Hotel in 2016. Today it's a staple of the area and perfect for a wide range of nights out and events. 

The Beach Hotel Sale

Andrew and Luke Lazarus also owned Newcastle's The Beach Hotel, and it was recently sold. They purchased the hotel in 2019 and made changes that greatly increased its value. Selling for $40 million, the hotel is on Merewether Beach and has long been a beloved hotel both by locals and guests.
