Legendary Bands Earth, Wind Fire And Chicago Announce Milwaukee Date for Co-Headlining Tour

MILWAUKEE (Nov. 12, 2015) – The ‘70s are back in a big way. With “Star Wars” and Snoopy hitting movie theaters and platform shoes and flares gracing fashion runways, the BMO Harris Bradley Center (BMOHBC) announced today two of the most successful and critically-acclaimed bands of the ’70s – Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago have added additional dates to their popular tour bringing the HEART AND SOUL TOUR 2.0 to Milwaukee on March 31, 2016.

The show is the latest in a series of major concert announcements for the Center, which includes Maroon 5 (Oct. 1, 2016), Amy Schumer (Dec. 4, 2015), The Who! (March 21, 2016) and Janet Jackson (June 5, 2016).

 “Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire have both been enormously successful over the years, building a loyal and passionate fan base. Having the two bands together on the BMO Harris Bradley Center stage will be an unforgettable experience for longtime and new fans alike.” said Steve Costello, the Center’s president and CEO. “We work hard to bring a wide variety of bands and entertainment at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. When that variety comes together on stage in one incredible night, it’s especially exciting.”

 American Express and Citi® card members will have access to pre-sale tickets beginning Monday, Nov. 16 at 12:00 p.m. local time. General tickets for the tour go on sale starting Friday, November 20 at 10 a.m. at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Ticket Office, Ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 800-745-3000.

 With more than 200 million albums sold and 20 GRAMMY® nominations between them, the tour will continue to provide unparalleled entertainment from two of America’s most legendary musical groups. Billboard hails that Chicago is one of “the most successful American rock band[s] of all time, in terms of both albums and singles” and “been able to fill arenas with satisfied fans” with music that has endured throughout time while Rolling Stone has described Earth, Wind & Fireas “a funk-fusion powerhouse that changed the sound and history of popular music.” In October 2015, Chicago received their first nomination to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since becoming eligible in 1994; Earth, Wind & Fire was inducted into the Hall in 2000.
