Colder weather brings new seasonal cocktails to Affäre

Affäre Bar Manager Chelsea Almeida adds four new craft cocktails and three dessert drinks for fall and winter months
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Nov. 4, 2015) – Affäre introduces its new fall and winter cocktails and dessert drinks created by Bar Manager Chelsea Almeida. Almeida focuses on offering warmth in the upcoming cold months with ingredients like City Market Coffee Roasters coffee, house-made butternut squash liqueur, toasted marshmallows, campfire whiskey, and maple syrup. As part of the new dessert drinks, Affäre features its version of Gluhwine, a traditional German drink of mulled wine served hot.
All fall cocktails and dessert drinks are now available during lunch, served Tuesday through Friday, starting at 11:15 a.m., dinner, served Tuesday through Thursday until 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until 11 p.m., and Sunday Brunch, served 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Located in the heart of the Crossroads Arts District, Affäre is Kansas City’s home for authentic contemporary German cuisine. Owned and operated by Germany-natives Martin and Katrin Heuser, the restaurant features a lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch and full bar with authentic German beers on tap.
