New shirt corrects muscular imbalances, improves range of motion and posture

VAIL, Colo. (Oct. 26, 2015) — With a unique balance of compression and tension, the BLADE-Tec shirt from Opedix extends kinetic health expert’s patented technology to the upper body. Following over two years of development, the BLADE-Tec shirt aims to comfortably correct muscular imbalances to improve performance, enhance posture and reduce pain.

“We are excited to bring the same trusted Torque Reform Technology we employ in our shorts and tights to the upper kinetic chain,” says Michael Decker, Ph.D. and senior scientist in the Human Dynamics Laboratory at the University of Denver, CO. “The positioning of your shoulder blades is critical for optimizing the pain-free balance between shoulder stability and range of motion and our technology redirects abnormal rotations of the shoulder blade.”

Made of a breathable, moisture-wicking polyester-and-spandex mesh fabric blend, the snug-fitting top is ideal for fitness activities, tennis, golf, weight lifting, and any athlete looking for improved shoulder stability and range of motion. The long-cut top features a silicon gripper elastic at the hem to ensure proper positioning and tension during activity.

With a v-neck design, the BLADE-Tec shirt is also suitable for everyday wear under a dress shirt to improve posture while sitting or standing for extended periods.

“This BLADE-Tec shirt shouldn’t be limited to only athletic use,” says Decker. “It can aid anyone with promoting alignment, improving stability and increasing range of motion.”

Since 2004, Opedix has worked in conjunction with nationally recognized orthopedic and biomechanics laboratories, testing and refining their patented Torque Reform Technology™ to help optimize the way you move by aligning the series of joints that work together to form your kinetic chain. By properly supporting the linked motion of the kinetic chain, Opedix Torque Reform Technology™ improves joint function and preserves the health of your moving body.

The BLADE-Tec shirt is available online now and retails for $125. To learn more about Opedix products or to purchase, please visit Opedix.com.
