“Little Scotland”

Eighth program in the Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speaker Series at the Dennison Lodge Thursday, September 8th at 7pm.

John Finley, local rancher and historian, will present “Little Scotland”, a power point program about the earliest homesteaders on the East Fork. Learn about the Duncans, Speirs, Campbells, Bains, McKissocks, Muirs and more, who moved from Ayrshire, Scotland to create a town called Duncan “on the road between Lander and Dubois”. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the evening with us!

This program is the eight and final in the Wyoming Community Bank Speaker Series at the museum for the year. This series features educational opportunities on the area’s culture and history at all three county museums throughout the summer and fall.
