Oct. 3: Hands on Atlanta Day, Turner Construction Volunteers at Atlanta Food Bank

What: Turner Construction is Painting the Town Blue as part its ongoing commitment to give back to Atlanta. In a community partnership with Hands on Atlanta, Turner employees will volunteer October 3 at the Atlanta Food Bank. “Paint the Town Blue” is Turner’s overall community umbrella.

The employees will be working at the Food Bank’s Product Rescue Center (PRC). The PRC is the area where all donated food items are brought to be inspected and packaged for distribution to more than 600 nonprofit partner agencies.

All volunteering employees of Turner Construction and other volunteers across Atlanta are invited to lunch and an afternoon at Zoo Atlanta. The free admission is a thank you and celebration of service from Hands on Atlanta.

When: Saturday, October 3, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
