Charles Starkey’s dad taught him to hunt deer and now he’s teaching his dad how to hunt predators with the X-Sight.

South San Francisco, Calif. (September 2015)American Technologies Network Corp. (ATN), innovators of advanced night vision, thermal imaging and digital Smart HD optics for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, military and law enforcement, is pleased to announce that a story, “Remembering our Hunt with the ATN X-Sight,” written by X-Sight owner and ATN customer, Charles Starkey, has been published on HuntingLife.com.

“I really enjoyed writing the story and I hope that readers will like reading it. Maybe it will bring back for readers childhood memories of hunting with their dad. For me, that’s what hunting is really all about: spending time in the outdoors with your dad or your son and making memories. I think that’s why I like the X-Sight so much. It allows me to take pictures and video of the hunts I go on with my dad. Because of the X-Sight we can relive those memories whenever we want.  I’d definitely encourage people to try it,” said avid hunter and X-Sight owner, Charles Starkey.

In the story Starkey explains how his dad, Pepaw Starkey taught him how to hunt deer and how when he got older and got into predator hunting, he taught his dad how to hunt predators using the X-Sight digital day/night rifle scope. Below is an excerpt from the story:

“At first Dad wasn’t too sure about the idea. He would just need to trust me. So I took him to my favorite hunting spot and told him where to sit and watch. I set up the decoy in front of us, took my place and began making my rabbit distress call. Two minutes later, CRACK! I looked over my shoulder at Dad and he’d shot the coyote! He had this look of amazement I will never forget and I now knew how he felt all those years ago when he helped me get my first deer.”

The X-Sight (MSRP $629- $729) has a high resolution day/night sensor that can be switched between modes so that during the day the user can look through the high-definition scope like any other daytime scope, while at night or in darkness, the sensor can be turned on and the scope can be used like a night vision scope. The X-Sight can also take and record photos and high-definition video and has Wi-Fi and Geotagging capabilities so that hunters can share their adventures with their family and friends. The X-Sight is available in 3-12X and 5-18X.
