The Well Bar Grill Rooftop adds 14 new menu items

KANSAS CITY, MO. (September 8, 2015) – The Well Bar Grill & Rooftop has added 14 additions to its menu with dishes that feature an array of global flavors. The new items include one starter, three salads, five sandwiches, one wrap, and four entrees.

New menu offerings are as follows and available now:

Starters:

Baked Brie, $13.99

Creamy French Brie drizzled with honey, served warm with fresh grapes, apples, pears and candied pecans with warm French bread and flat bread crackers

From the Garden:

Quinoa Cranberry Salad, $12.99

Chilled blend of quinoa, couscous, dried cranberries and mint served over fresh baby kale mix with cucumber, red onion, fresh strawberries and feta cheese tossed in creamy honey citrus dressing

Caribbean Jerk Chicken Salad, $12.99

Grilled citrus-habenero and rum marinated chicken served over fresh baby kale mix with pineapple salsa, roasted corn, tortilla strips and cheddar jack cheese with creamy honey-citrus dressing

Thai Chicken Salad, $12.99

Crisp chicken tenders tossed in Thai peanut sauce served over fresh baby kale mix with pineapple salsa, Asian slaw, wonton strips and toasted almonds. Served with sesame lime vinaigrette

Entrees:

Carne Asada Street Tacos, $14.99

Freshly grilled teres major steak with pico de gallo, queso cotija, avocado and jalapeno lime slaw on corn tortillas, served with chips and salsa

Shrimp Pesto Linguini, $17.99

Shrimp, fresh garlic herb tomatoes, parmesan, Romano cheeses and linguine noodles tossed in a light pesto and white wine sauce, served with asiago ciabatta toast

New Orleans Jambalaya, $15.99

Andouille sausage, chicken and shrimp in a spicy creole holy trinity tomato and butter sauce with rice and a slice of warm French bread

Coconut Curry Stir Fry, $12.99

Fresh Kohlrabi, Brussel sprouts, baby kale, carrots, mushrooms and cabbage in red Thai coconut curry sauce with rice pilaf, add roast pork or chicken $3.99 add shrimp $5.99

Sandwiches:

Grilled Portabella Panini, $12.99

Grilled Portabella mushrooms with garlic herb tomatoes, smoked mozzarella cheese and basil pesto aioli, grill-pressed on farm to market ciabatta

Roasted Pork Banh Mi, $14.99

Tender citrus marinated pork with pickled vegetables, fresh cilantro, cucumber, mayo and jalapeno on a farm to market French roll

Beef and Brie Sandwich, $ 15.99

Tender roasted prime rib with creamy melted French brie cheese on a farm to market French roll with roasted garlic aioli

Caribbean Jerk Chicken Sandwich, $11.99

Citrus and rum marinated chicken breast, grilled with habanero jam, pineapple salsa and jalapeno lime slaw on a farm to market egg bun

Kansas City Smoked Brisket Sandwich, $14.99

Tender beef brisket, smoked in-house, slathered with barbecue sauce, served on a farm to market egg fun with crispy onion strings, coleslaw and pickles

Wraps:

Thai Chicken Wrap, $12.99

Crisp chicken tenders tossed in Thai peanut sauce with spring greens, Asian slaw, pineapple salsa, crispy wonton strips and sesame-lime vinaigrette, wrapped in a jalapeno cheddar tortilla

About The Well

The Well Bar, Grill & Rooftop, known by locals as simply “The Well,” opened its doors in Kansas City’s historic Waldo neighborhood in August 2009 at 7539 Wornall Road. Combining an urban feel with the casual atmosphere of a neighborhood bar, The Well is a unique, multi-level restaurant with open-air windows and an expansive, all-season rooftop patio, one of the Kansas City’s largest outdoor dining options. The Well is open seven days a week, 365 days a year, offering guests a chef-driven menu featuring fresh seafood, made-to-order pastas and dry-aged ribeye steaks. Lunch and dinner are served daily until 10 p.m. and a condensed, late night menu starts at 10 p.m. until 11 p.m., Monday – Thursday, and until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Happy Hour is offered from 3 – 6 p.m., Monday – Friday. Breakfast is served on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. and The Well’s popular six-station brunch buffet is served every Sunday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and includes Kansas City’s largest Bloody Mary bar.
