GRUNDÉNS USA INTRODUCES NEW GAGE WEATHER-BOSS RAINWEAR

Heavy-Duty Jackets, Parkas and Pants Protect Fishermen and Boaters From The Harshest Conditions

Grundéns USA has expanded its popular Gage Technical Gear line with the introduction of new Weather-Boss Jackets, Parkas and Pants.   In the Gage tradition, this new rainwear is completely waterproof and breathable, yet it provides the protection and robust features that have made Grundéns the leading choice of Bering Sea crab fishermen and other hard-working mariners.

Weather-Boss is an ideal choice when plying a snow-rimmed river for steelhead, braving the winter cod grounds or doing gear work shoreside in the cold and rain.   Weather-Boss rainwear is tailored from heavy-duty 500-denier nylon that is coated on the inside with a waterproof, breathable barrier.   With their tough waterproof construction, these jackets, parkas and pants can withstand Mother Nature’s worst temper tantrums.  At the same time, Weather-Boss’ breathability allows significant perspiration to pass through, reducing the chances of getting sweaty, cold and clammy when working or playing hard.

Grundéns USA builds a long list of professional grade features into its Weather-Boss line.   Both the jacket and parka feature fully taped seams and double storm flaps to seal out stinging rain and wind-driven spray. A snug-fitting inner cuff and Velcro adjusting outer cuff keep water from entering through the sleeves.   Grundéns’ three-piece, height-adjustable hood provides full head protection while allowing for ease of movement and visibility.  Double-layered elbows provide for athletic movement on deck along with added durability at this critical area.

Inside, you’ll find a lightweight mesh lining and two internal pockets.  Additional features found on both the Weather-Boss Jacket and Parka include two zippered hand warmer pockets and a zippered Napoleon chest pocket for storage.  Both are offered in either Black or Brown and a full range of sizes from XS to 5XL.

Weather-Boss Pants are constructed for durable wear and versatility, with easily removable elastic suspenders, internal boot gaiters for a better seal against the elements, and double reinforced knees (with special pockets to accommodate optional Grundéns foam kneepads).  Two zippered hand warmer pockets provide a place for storage and to thaw out frozen fingers.  These pants come in Black and are offered in XS to 5XL to accommodate fishermen and boaters of all shapes and sizes.

The new Weather-Boss Parka carries an MSRP of $154.30, while the Weather-Boss Jacket retails for $142.50.   The pants that complete this heavy-duty rainwear ensemble carry an MSRP of $140.50.   Sizes 3XL to 5XL are priced slightly higher.

To learn more about new heavy-duty Weather-Boss Rainwear – or the complete line of Gage Technical Gear rainwear, apparel and accessories -- visit your authorized Grundéns dealer or contact Grundéns USA toll-free at 800.323.7327.   Information on the entire Gage Technical Gear collection and the location of authorized dealers can also be found at www.Grundéns.com.
