Stretch Zion Fabric and Organic Cotton Combine With Versatile Style That Goes The Distance

CARLSBAD, CA (September 3, 2015) — Designed with versatility in mind, prAna’s latest pants are made with fabrics and style that make them the perfect companions for travel, climbing and everyday life.

“This season we were particularly inspired by the idea of doing more in a day with fewer wardrobe changes,” said Ellen Krimmel, VP of Design and Merchandising. “That’s why we’ve taken trendy, fitted street silhouettes, and outfitted them with thoughtful details that make them perfect for the outdoors, too.”

In denim, prAna is offering jeans made with a blend of 75% Organic Cotton, polyester and spandex for a comfortable, stylish fit that moves with you. Organic cotton production systems replenish and maintain soil fertility, reduce the use of pesticides and fertilizers, and builds biologically diverse agriculture.

For men, prAna has launched new super-soft organic denim in the Bridger Jean. With a modern and slim fit, guys will reach for Bridger whether heading out for adventurous activities, or dressing up for a more serious setting. For women, slim-fitting Kara Jeans have become a favorite sustainably made staple, now offered in more colors than ever, with the same great versatility.

No matter the adventure ahead, you’ll find the fit and function you need with prAna’s family of Stretch Zion pants. Stretch 'Zion' performance fabric is quick drying, wrinkle resistant, abrasion resistant, and water resistant. When traveling, it’s the only pant you need.

For men, prAna offers the original Stretch Zion Pant, a favorite among climbers, complete with roll-snap legs, and zippered cargo pockets. For women, the trouser-style Halle Pant in Stretch Zion-fabric offers comfortable all-day fit, roll-snap legs, hidden stash pocket, drawstring waist for added adjustability, and reinforced knees. For a more slim-fitting style, the Meme Pant combines form and function—five-pocket styling (including cargo pockets) and a midrise make Meme the pant that’s ready to go, straight from your pack.

“The always-on-the-go, every-day’s-an-adventure customer knows that fashion and function can come together,” said Krimmel. “They’re choosing pieces that transition easily between sport and street while working equally well on the mountain or the mat.”
