Hop on your Vespa and Discover a “Different Experience”

September 1, 2015, Barcelona, Spain - Barcelona is the ideal city to cruise on a Vespa and the Mercer Hotel offers a unique experience to scoot around the city on a guided tour or  to travel solo at your own pace.  Start by exploring the streets of the Gothic Quarter, home to the Mercer Hotel, where you’ll find the Cathedral of Barcelona and the Picasso Museum.  Head on to the “Golden Square” and pass by Gauidi’s Casa Batlló and La Pedrera along with other architectural wonders on the Passeig de Gràcia.  Track back through Las Ramblas, down past La Boqueria, or visit the nearby Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).  From the back of your motorbike you can cover a lot of territory in this beautiful city.  To complete your #MercerExperience for the day, head back to Le Bouchon, the hotel’s tapas bar and enjoy the local favorite - a vermouth spritz!

A “Different Experience” - A two night stay at Mercer Barcelona including breakfast daily and your choice of a six hour guided tour on a Vespa or a 48 hour rental. The Deluxe Room rate begins at 1.150€ (additional night 450€ w/breakfast); Junior Suite is 1.350€ (additional night at 575€ w/breakfast).  Rates are based on double occupancy,  10% VAT is included.  A city tax of 2.48€  per person/per night are not included.
