Chicago, Illinois -- Alfred Benesch & Company (Benesch) has merged with Tucker, Young, Jackson, Tull, Inc. (TYJT), a Detroit, Michigan based environmental and civil engineering firm.

The addition of TYJT expands the company’s water/wastewater and transportation design services. In addition, the merger adds two new offices to Benesch’s profile – one in Detroit, MI and the other in Baltimore, MD.

“We’re very excited to expand our presence in Michigan”, says John Carrato, President and CEO of Benesch. “TYJT’s water/wastewater practice is incredibly strong, and we’re anxious to demonstrate our added expertise and depth in this area to our clients in Michigan and beyond”.

The combined firm has approximately 600 employees, located in offices throughout fifteen states.
