Crampton wins Top Fuel final at Bristol

 BRISTOL, Tenn. (June 23, 2015) – Richie Crampton took his third Top Fuel victory of the season when he beat Larry Dixon in the final round at the National Hot Rod Association’s Summit Racing Equipment Nationals at Bristol Dragway. Matt Hagan (in Funny Car) and Erica Enders-Stevens (Pro Stock) also won in the NHRA’s Mello Yello Drag Racing Series for professional teams. Crampton’s win was the fifth of his career. He is third in Top Fuel points. Antron Brown leads the Top Fuel points with 826. Teammate Tony Schumacher is two points back. Hagan beat teammate Ron Capps in the Funny Car final, the 18th career victory for Hagan. Hagan holds a big lead in the Funny Car standings with 866 points. Capps is next with 770. Enders-Stevens beat Chris McGaha in a close Pro Stock final. The margin of victory was a narrow .0349 of a second. It marked the second straight win for Enders-Stevens at Bristol and it was her fourth win of 2015. The victory also put Enders-Stevens into the points lead with 964 points. Greg Anderson is next with 950. Goodyear employs about 69,000 people at manufacturing plants and facilities in 22 nations. Based in Akron, Ohio, Goodyear is among the largest tiremakers in the world and is the worldwide leader in race tire innovation.
