Lenni, Pennsylvania – June 15, 2015 – DermaMed Solutions, one of the leading Microdermabrasion equipment and professional skincare companies in the United States, today announced the third recipient of the company’s Aesthetic Education Award, Alicia Covey, an aesthetic student at Marinello Schools of Beauty in Redding, California.  Covey received a $500 award towards her education from DermaMed Solutions, to support this future aesthetician interested in a “Whole-istic” approach to skincare.

“We received many fabulous new applications and essays for our Aesthetic Education Award, and all the candidates we reviewed were qualified, passionate, and articulate,” said Ginger Hodulik, DermaMed Solutions Vice President of Research and Development.  “However, the application that stood out to us was from Alicia Covey, who truly understands and agrees with our whole-istic philosophy towards attaining healthy skin. We wish her great success in her future career in aesthetics.”

In her essay, Covey wrote that “My desire to become an aesthetician all started with my passion to want to help people look and feel the best about themselves…Skin is the biggest organ in the body that everyone sees, when people look and feel good about themselves, in their own skin, they are free from other people’s negativity and judgement.”
