J.B. Okie's manor house, "The Big TeePee" will be the focus of the first Wind River Visitor's Council Adventure Trek hosted by the Riverton Museum this summer.  Okie, a prominent business man and sheep rancher build The Big TeePee in 1901 in Lost Cabin, WY.  The Victorian Mansion is owned by ConocoPhillips and is normally closed to the public.  ConocoPhillips has worked with the Riverton Museum to make a guided tour available to the public.  The tour will begin at the Riverton Museum at 700 East Park Ave in Riverton, WY at 11:30.  Visitor's will take a bus to the historic site.  Due to high demand this trek has been filled.  A 2nd trek to the Okie Mansion is planned for September 16th.  Call the Riverton Museum for tour details and to reserve your place in September at 307-856-2665.
