Skiing Hires Former Backcountry Editor-in-Chief

BOULDER, Colo. (April 12, 2016) — Longtime contributor Drew Pogge is thrilled to join the Skiing Magazine team as Editor-at-Large. Pogge brings a depth of experience as an award-winning writer and photographer, college writing instructor, and former Editor-in-Chief of Backcountry Magazine. He also owns and operates Bell Lake Yurt near Bozeman, Montana, where he spends his winters ski guiding, teaching avalanche and backcountry education courses, and training for his next ski mountaineering expedition—wherever it may be. He’s excited to become a part of the rich, 67-year legacy of Skiing, and continue sharing stories from the mountains. He lives in Bozeman, with his wife and two awful cats.
