TECH Technological University: the world’s largest online university

Ever since the Covid-19 lockdowns, businesses as well as educational institutions across the globe have recognised that, not only is it possible to work from home but there are quite a few benefits of it too. Online universities, in particular, offer students a lot of flexibility in terms of their location, time and other commitments. Being the largest in the world, TECH Technological University has been a great proof that online universities can successfully bring higher education to the comfort of your home. Here’s everything you need to know.

A rapid growth

Founded in 2015, the private TECH Technological University first started operating in Mexico City, providing courses for Spanish-speaking users only. The online educational institution started out with a small number of Health Sciences courses, however, shortly after they started opening up new faculties and schools, including Social and Business Sciences as well as Technological Sciences. By 2019, the online university was gaining a lot of popularity across the globe, which was fueled even more by the worldwide lockdowns caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Today, TECH Technological University operates in a number of Spanish and English-speaking countries, employs over 6,000 staff and has around 500,000 graduates.

Available courses

The TECH University currently offers an impressive selection of 10,000 different programs, available in 10 languages. These include Bachelor's degrees, Masters degrees and Doctorates. The course catalogue covers nearly any type of degree or study one can think of, including language schools, sports sciences and even the more modern studies, such as video game design. Not only does the university have the largest selection of studies in the world, it also proudly holds a success rate of 97% of their graduates getting jobs with their degrees.

A revolutionary learning method

What is unique about the TECH Technological University and its courses is the learning methodology they have adapted to their courses. This teaching style is called Re-learning Methodology and they are the only university in the world licensed to use it. It is essentially about reiteration, meaning that students will be relearning the key concepts in different ways and stages of their studies. This methodology has proved to be the most efficient and productive way of learning, together with a wide range of digital resources, a brilliant teaching team and the availability to successfully balance out work, personal life and education.

Global recognition

The success of the online university has been acknowledged by many world-renowned organisations, who are currently collaborating with them. The TECH university has been called “the best online university in the world” by Forbes, due to its state-of-the-art technology and methods of digital learning. Additionally, TECH is the first online university to have an agreement with Harvard Business Publishing and therefore implementing the infamous Harvard Business School Case Studies. Lastly, in 2022 TECH has been made the official online university for the world’s largest basketball league - NBA - further enhancing the sport areas of their courses. All of this recognition is further proof of the great success of the TECH Technological University and the fact that remote education can be just as, if not more, effective as the traditional universities.
