The spicy wit and irreverent wisdom of COMMON SENSE MAMITA has become a weekly fan-favorite, delivering Latino’s a hilarious in-your-face dose of ‘tough-love’ honesty about all aspects of their life.  Nicole first created and launched the streetwise ‘edutainment’ vlog online over 2 years ago, which was instantly picked up by Latin Heat Entertainment (LatinHeat.com) and later expanded to include an original weekly blog for web-radio podcast Robles & Rosado (RoblesandRosado.com).

Nicole is excited about the new features this season, explaining “We are having such a blast doing the show. This season we are going to include live streaming sessions with Hollywood Influencers, audience members and shoot on location. We are so excited about opening it up to include other social media outlets and can’t wait to engage with avid followers of Common Sense Mamita.”

Previously voted by Hispanic Magazine as one of the ‘Top 100 Latino Comics, nothing is off-limits for Lydia who considers herself an optimist, storyteller and potty mouth. She went on to participate and produce the stand-up comedy shows “Funny Ladies of Comedy” and the all Latina “The Hot and Spicy Mamitas,” which performed before sold-out audiences nationwide and recorded a hit comedy CD with Uproar Records.

Lydia’s acting career spans over 30 years, guest-starring in numerous television shows and films including the Oscar-nominated film “Stand and Deliver” starring Edward James Olmos. Lydia is also a producer with numerous credit under her belt including Robert Townsend’s latest romantic comedy film, “Playin’ For Love,” starring Townsend and Jenifer Lewis; “Why We Laugh,” a documentary on the history of African-American comedy; “Los Americans” the first dramatic Latino web series; and the dramatic bio-pic “In The Hive,” based on the life of Vivian Sanders, a woman who started a high school in for at risk boys.
