Tastings of local and regional whiskeys at Bristol Seafood Grill and J. Gilbert’s, Nov. 10

Tasting menu includes thoughtfully-selected appetizers for $45 per person

KANSAS CITY, MO. (Nov. 5, 2015) – Bristol Seafood Grill (downtown Kansas City location only) and J. Gilbert’s Wood-Fired Steaks & Seafood will host whiskey and bourbon tastings on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. Local and regional whiskey selections will be available for tasting, including Dark Horse Rye Whiskey, J. Rieger’s Whiskey and Elijah Craig among others. The tastings celebrate the 226th anniversary of the first distilled bourbon in Woodford County, Kentucky by Elijah Craig.

Both tastings will feature paired appetizers, selected by Bristol Kansas City’s Executive Chef Travis Napier and J. Gilbert’s Executive Chef Ruben Rosales to accompany the featured whiskeys and bourbons. Full menu details are as follows:

Each tasting is $45 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required, and seating is limited at both locations. In addition, all guests are invited to stay after each tasting for $25 off a food purchase of $75 or more at both locations.
