American Sentinel University and Colorado Hospital Association Name Kim Blair at UC Health as October Colorado Health Care Star

AURORA, Colo. – November 5, 2015 – American Sentinel University and the Colorado Hospital Association (CHA) recently named Kim Blair, BSN, RN at UC Health as the October Colorado Health Care Stars Award Winner recognizing Blair as an exceptional health care professional.
Colorado Health Care Stars is a new statewide health care professional award recognition program sponsored by American Sentinel University and CHA. The program was launched in February 2015 to acknowledge clinical professionals in Colorado who exceed expectations in the delivery of health care.
Blair, who works in the Outpatient Infusion Unit at UC Health, recognizes the importance of patient satisfaction. Daily, she ensures that she provides an excellent level of outpatient care to her patients.
“Kim Blair is committed and dedicated to providing phenomenal care to our outpatient infusion patients,” says Michelle Smith, chief clinical officer at UC Health. “Kim consistently goes above and beyond to make sure that our patients are being cared for while in the hospital and the community. She strives to minimize patient discomfort and helps to alleviate stress for both the patient and their families. She is truly an asset to the Outpatient Infusion Unit and a remarkable representative of the nursing unit at UC Health.”
