Harrison at Reston Town Center, a new 360-unit luxury apartment community developed by Renaissance Centro in Reston, VA, has won two top industry awards recognizing the project’s excellence in architecture and design. Now 80 percent leased, The Harrison offers the most expansive array of resort-style amenities of any rental community in the area.

The Harrison’s spectacular 28,000 square foot common area garnered a Multifamily Pillars of the Industry Award in the interior merchandising category for Carlyn and Company. Carlyn’s design concept was inspired by elegant luxury hotels, with a broad demographic in mind. The common area offers innovative, amenity-rich spaces for residents who may be working from home, as well as those who are downsizing but still want the opportunity to entertain family and friends. Common area amenities include an indoor pool, Culinary Center, Health and Fitness Center, Executive Business Center, Gaming and Entertainment Center, and Rooftop SkyClub with virtual golf and seasonal outdoor pool.

The National Association of Home Builders’ Pillars Awards program highlights creative development concepts, innovative financing strategies, great design, and superior management and marketing in apartments and condominiums throughout America.

The Harrison’s stylish architecture by Lessard Design, Inc. was honored by the Great American Living Awards (GALA) program, the Washington, DC area’s most prestigious residential design, sales, and marketing competition. The Harrison’s GALA award for best multifamily design and architecture cited the project’s open floor plan arrangements that create stunning living spaces with views of the Reston skyline.

Residents who have moved into The Harrison since earlier this year are thrilled with their spacious apartments, convenient location, helpful staff, and lifestyle-enhancing amenities, making statements such as:

“This building is simply immaculate. It’s a really modern place – the hardwood floors, the updated appliances -- the finishes are really high-quality.”

“I timed it, and it takes me seven minutes to walk from here to the middle of Reston Town Center. I can get on the W&OD trail on my bike in literally fifteen seconds.”

“Traveling is so convenient. We’re right near Dulles Airport, and I don’t have to worry about sitting in traffic all day.”

“As triathletes, we incorporate The Harrison’s amenities into our lifestyle wholeheartedly. The facilities include a lap pool, a spinning studio where I can actually exercise on my own bike or on theirs, the yoga studio for flexibility… and then there’s the weight room! Nowhere in this area will you find a fitness facility as accommodating as The Harrison’s.”

“We looked around at over two dozen locations and facilities, and The Harrison had a number of differentiators from everything else we’ve seen. The kitchen size, the amount of cabinetry – everything we had in our old home fits in this kitchen. The closet space is enormous. You don’t feel constrained.”

“One of my favorite amenities is knowing how secure the place is. You’re not afraid to come in whatever time of day or night; there are always people around to help you.”

“Since I work at home, I interact with the staff here almost on an hourly basis. I’ve never met people who are so nice, so interested in making sure you are happy on a day-to-day basis.”
