South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa Restaurants Celebrate Thanksgiving with Gourmet Traditional and Specialty Menu Options

LAS VEGAS – South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa celebrates Thanksgiving with specialty menus on Thursday, Nov. 26 at the property’s most popular restaurants including Baja Miguel’s, Coronado Café, Don Vito’s, Garden Buffet, Primarily Prime Rib and Silverado Steakhouse. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional holiday dishes to gourmet alternatives while enjoying time with friends and family.

Baja Miguel’s will serve a three-course menu and a complimentary house margarita or glass of wine for $16.95 per person from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., including:

·         Appetizers: Salad Fiesta, chopped romaine with corn, tomatoes, black olives, grated cheese and tortilla strips with salsa ranch dressing; or Chicken Tortilla Soup.

·         Entrées: Herb Roasted Young Turkeywith giblet gravy, apple and chestnut dressing, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, maple glazed yams, green beans and cranberry relish; or Carne Asada Baja Miguel’s, marinated skirt steak broiled, topped with chipotle mushrooms and butter sauce served with chilaquiles and tri-colored beans.

·         Desserts: Pumpkin Pie.

Coronado Café will serve a three-course menu and a complimentary cocktail or glass of wine for $14.95 per person from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., including:

·         Appetizers: Fall Harvest Salad, seasonal greens, cherry tomatoes, sweet corn, toasted croutons and a choice of dressing; or Butternut Squash Soup.

·         Entrées: Herb Roasted Young Turkeywith giblet gravy, apple and chestnut dressing, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, maple glazed yams, green beans and cranberry relish; orRoast Sirloin of Beef topped with Au Jus and creamed horseradish sauce with baked or Yukon Gold mashed potatoes with green beans.

·         Desserts: Pumpkin Pie.

Don Vito’s will serve a three-course menu and a complimentary cocktail or glass of wine for $35 per person from 2 to 9 p.m., including:

·         Appetizers: Osso Bucco Ravioli with chive Beurre Blanc; Asparagus Frittes, breaded and baked with pumpkin cream; Butternut Squash Soup with panchetta crouton; or Traditional Caesar Salad.

·         Entrées: Herb Roasted Young Turkeywith giblet gravy, apple and chestnut dressing, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, maple glazed yams, green beans and cranberry relish; Scallops Seared Over a Bed of Sautéed Spinach with orange saffron sauce; or Filet Medallions Diane with herb roasted mushrooms and peppers in a red wine demi sauce.

·         Desserts: Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream; Apple Cranberry Cobbler;or Strawberry Cannoli.

Primarily Prime Rib will serve a three-course menu and a complimentary cocktail or glass of wine for $29 per person from 2 to 9 p.m., including:

·         Appetizers: Harvest Salad, romaine and endive lettuce with apple, toasted walnuts and cranberries with a white apple cider vinaigrette; Grilled Crab and Corn Cakes with horseradish cream; or Butternut Squash and Corn Bisque.

·         Entrées: Herb Roasted Young Turkeywith giblet gravy, apple and chestnut dressing, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, maple glazed yams, green beans and cranberry relish;Roast Prime Rib of Beef dry aged and slowly cooked for full flavor; Chicken Gloria wrapped in prosciutto ham and sautéed with apricots flamed with apricot brandy; Oven Roasted Gulf Coast Grouper with pumpkin and sage Beurre Blanc; Maple Glazed Pork Loin, apple and walnut stuffed pork loin with maple demi and white bean casserole; or Dry Aged Sirloin Steak, broiled 10 ounce steak with Cabernet mushroom reduction.

·         Desserts: Warm Apple and Pecan Tart with crème anglaise; Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream;or Pumpkin Cheesecake.

Silverado Steakhouse will serve a four-course menu and a complimentary cocktail or glass of wine for $49 per person from 2 to 9 p.m., including:

·         Appetizers: Shrimp Cocktail; or Bacon Wrapped Dates with blue cheese and quinoa salad.

·         Soup and Salad:Butternut Squash and Corn Bisque; Fall Harvest Salad, baby kale, arugula, teardrop tomatoes, cranberries and pecans with apple cider vinaigrette; or Silverado Salad Bowl with Champagne Dressing.

·         Entrées: Herb Roasted Young Turkeywith giblet gravy, apple and chestnut dressing, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, maple glazed yams, green beans and cranberry relish;Roasted Pheasant with Mushroom and Pancetta Jus with creamed parsnips, braised cabbage and chateau potatoes; or Sable Fish with Potato Crust on sautéed cherry tomatoes and broccoli timbale, orzo and a saffron Beurre Blanc sauce.

·         Desserts: Warm Pecan Tart;Pumpkin Pie; or Toasted Almond Pound Cake with pistachio gelato, raspberries and hazelnut cream.

Additionally, the Garden Buffet will serve a Thanksgiving Wine and Dine Buffet for $16.95 with a Club Card or $19.95 without a Club Card from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guests will receive one complimentary glass of house wine with the buffet feast. The holiday buffet offers an assortment of a la carte options including Spinach Salad, Quinoa and Orange Salad, Cream of Butternut Squash Soup, Traditional Roasted Turkey, Roasted Prime Rib, Cider Baked Ham, Seared Salmon, Lemon Pepper Roasted Chicken, Golden Fried Shrimp and more. Guests can satisfy the sweet tooth craving with desserts such as Pumpkin Pie, Cheesecake, Fruit Pie, Hot Cranberry Bread Pudding and Hot Apple and Raisin Brown Betty.

Regular menus will also be available at Baja Miguel’s, Coronado Café, Don Vito’s, Primarily Prime Rib and Silverado Steakhouse on Thursday, Nov. 26. All guests must be 21 years of age or older with valid form of ID to receive the complimentary cocktail. Tax and gratuity are not included.
